PRIVACY POLICY

UAB Ragainė shall exercise care in protecting your privacy and personal user data. The purpose of Privacy Policy shall be to notify you of what kind of information is collected about you, how we can use this information, and how that information can be corrected or modified.

The definitions of the terms used in this Privacy Policy shall be given in the terms and conditions of the Privacy Policy.

We use cookies to be able to provide the highest level of service on our website. By using our website, you agree to our use of cookies. Cookies are tiny packets of data that the webpage server sends to your browser; these are stored in your browser. Cookies include information used in processing your orders and improving the services of the website. The Seller may also use cookies to collect anonymous statistics of the number of visits to Samsonite.lt, Buyer actions, and so on. You may disagree with our use of cookies, ban them, or delete them from your computer, but then some of our services may become fully or partially unavailable.

All actions done with your personal data shall be based on the applicable provisions of the legislation of the European Union and the Republic of Lithuania.

1. General Provisions of the Privacy Policy of Samsonite.lt

1.1. UAB Ragainė’s online shop Samsonite.lt is registered in the State Register of Handlers of Personal Data, data handler ID code P7714, date of registration: 4 May 2017.

1.2. In making purchases, the Buyer shall provide the Seller with their personal data necessary for the appropriate execution of the delivery: their full name, address (city/town, street, house number (no flat number will be required), ZIP code) for delivery purposes, a valid e-mail address and a phone number for contacting them over order confirmation (if necessary) and/or collection of details necessary to transact payment for the merchandise. In filling out a registration form to create an Account, registered Buyers shall enter in the Seller’s system a password to be used for subsequent logins to the Account created during their registration.

1.3. In handling and keeping the Buyer’s personal data, the Seller shall make every effort to ensure protection of the personal data from accidental or illegal destruction, modification, disclosure, as well as any unauthorised handling. Nonetheless, the Buyer shall also take care of the security and/or confidentiality of their data, especially for as much as it relates to data disclosure to third parties. Actions and/or confidentiality and security of data of underage persons shall be the responsibility of their parents or guardians.

1.4. The Buyer shall have a right to alter and/or update the information submitted in the registration form, as well as cancel their registration. The Buyer’s account will then be terminated, registration data deleted.

1.5. The Buyer shall have a right to access their personal data handled by the Seller and to know the method in which they are handled, and to demand correcting or destroying their personal data or suspending the handling thereof when the data are being handled in disregard of legal provisions, or to withhold consent to their personal data being handled.

1.6. The Buyer shall have a right to withhold consent to their personal data being handled and to refuse to provide their personal data. The Buyer shall acknowledge their understanding of the fact that personal data are necessary and required to explicitly identify the Buyer for the purposes of execution and fulfilment of agreements (online trade) and, unless personal data are provided and/or consent to them being handled for the purposes outlined in the Privacy Policy is granted, the Seller will not be able to execute and/or fulfil the agreement.

1.7. Inquiries, claims, and other information relating to the Privacy Policy and/or personal data handled shall be submitted to e-parduotuve@samsonite.lt. Inquiries, claims, and other information shall be formulated so as to enable the Seller to identify the Buyer to the extent necessary to prepare a reply and to send the reply to the Buyer. The Seller shall process the Buyer’s inquiries, claims, and requests as soon as possible, and in any event within 30 (thirty) days of the date of receipt of the inquiry and the related information. The Seller shall give 1 (one) free reply per year.

1.8. By accepting the present Terms and Conditions, the Buyer shall agree that information announcements required for the purposes of confirmation of their orders, payments, and deliveries or otherwise for the execution of their orders be sent to their e-mail address.

1.9. The Seller shall ensure that Buyer Personal Data shall only be used for the purposes of selling merchandise. Subject to a separate consent, data provided by the Buyer shall be used for direct marketing purposes as well.

1.10. Buyer Personal Data collected by the Seller for direct marketing purposes shall be kept for 2 years or less from the last time of the Buyer logs in to their Account or performs an action (files an order, purchases Merchandise) at Samsonite.lt.

1.11. The Seller shall not store Buyer data relating to payment information. All payments shall be made via partner channels (Paysera.com, Venipak.lt).

1.12. The Seller shall not disclose the Buyer’s personal data to third persons other than the Seller’s partners offering delivery services or other services relating to the due execution of the Buyer’s order. In all other cases, Buyer personal data may only be disclosed in the manner prescribed by the legislation of the Republic of Lithuania.

1.13. By accepting these rules, the Buyer shall also acknowledge their agreement to UAB Ragainė handling Buyer personal data submitted by the Buyer themselves or collected by the Seller in the process of fulfilling the Agreement and releasing such data to its partners for the purposes of fulfilling the Agreement (making deliveries, ensuring payments, and so on) to the extent necessary to perform the appropriate functions. The Buyer shall be informed that the list of data recipients is prone to change. The Buyer shall be informed that they have a right to approach the Seller (the handler of persona data) asking to change the list of entities to whom their personal data have been released.

1.14. This Privacy Policy shall be an integral part of the Rules and any reference to the Terms and Conditions shall also be a reference to this Privacy Policy.

2. Final Provisions

This Privacy Policy shall enter into effect on 17th of May 2017. Any modifications to the Privacy Policy shall be published and available at Samsonite.lt.
